Vertical is our Junior Youth group for Year 6–8 students.
It’s a fun, safe, high-energy space where kids can hang out, build friendships, and explore big questions about life and faith in a relaxed, friendly environment. Each week includes games, food, and chats designed just for this age group.

What to Expect

• Fun games and team challenges
• A chance to connect with friends or make new ones
• A short talk about life, exploring personal values or what faith is.
• Supper (usually something simple)
• Leaders who care, listen, and create a positive environment

Who’s It For?

All Year 6–8 students. Everyone is welcome!

In term 4 each year, we open up for our upcoming Year 5 friends to come along.

Who Leads Vertical?

Vertical is run by Aaron, Abbey, and our awesome volunteer junior youth leaders.

All leaders are police-vetted and follow our Child Safety standards.

We care about creating a safe, positive space where all kids can thrive.

When is it?

During the school term, from 5.45-7.15. We will normally be based from the church hall. See our upcoming events below for more details.

Is There a Cost?

Vertical is usually free to attend. Some special events (trips, camps, big nights etc) may have a small cost and we’ll always let you know ahead of time.

Do I have to Register?

Yes – Registration helps us keep young people safe and communicate event updates to families.
